Chris, President and Chief Certified Residential
Real Estate Appraiser
Chris is a U.S. Army Infantry veteran who served with honor at Arlington National Cemetery before spending over a decade as a Homicide Detective and SWAT Sniper. He is a graduate of The George Washington University and is currently a Candidate for the SRA designation through the Appraisal Institute.
Chris’s favorite part of the appraisal profession is the opportunity to meet new people each day and help solve the unique challenges each assignment brings. He often draws parallels between his former career and his current one. He still spends most of his time in people’s homes—only now, he’s invited. He also prefers arriving at properties where the occupants are alive and well. And most importantly, he continues to enjoy the investigation process required to make the most precise and defensible valuation.
When he’s not appraising properties throughout Virginia Beach and the surrounding areas, you’ll likely find Chris enjoying bushcraft in the backyard with the Perry clan, sharpening his marksmanship skills, or on the Brazilian jiu-jitsu mat.
Brittany, CEO
Brittany began her career as a Crisis Support Worker before earning her M.Ed. from George Mason University. She spent nearly a decade as a preschool and elementary school teacher before she and Chris took the leap into the family appraisal business.
Britt is grateful every day for the freedom and flexibility this profession provides. She loves connecting with clients and building relationships with the many names and personalities that make up their family’s growing community. For her, each day brings a new challenge—and a new opportunity to serve with purpose.
Wherever there’s live music and sand, you’ll likely find this mom leading her little crew in that direction.
Trish, Appraisal Analyst
Trish joins the CMP family as a U.S. Air Force veteran, where she proudly played clarinet alongside her saxophone-savvy husband and fellow Air Force Band member, John Fritz. After her service, Trish went on to run the family business, FritzPro Music, Inc., for the next 20 years. John retired from the Air Force after 22 years and now teaches music at Kingston Elementary School in Little Neck.
The highlight of their lives came the day they received the call—after 17 years of waiting and hoping—that they would finally be adopting their beautiful daughter, Rosina.
Trish also spent several years as a Realtor with Howard Hanna, bringing with her a strong understanding of the real estate market, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a determined drive to uphold the highest standards in the industry.
When she’s not behind a computer, you’ll likely find Trish and her family grilling enough food for the entire Royal Grant neighborhood or relaxing poolside. And yes—personal concerts are almost always available upon request.
